Graham Truscott
Senior Consultant
Graham is one of the most experienced blue-chip marketing and communications professionals in the UK. He transformed the reputation and perception of international engineering giant IMI plc whilst serving as their communications and investor relations director. Graham was a pioneer of corporate and social responsibility (CSR) and was responsible for cultivating IMI’s CSR ethos and culture, placing it at the heart of the company’s decision-making processes. He was previously head of brand for Rolls-Royce plc, where his achievements included the global repositioning of one of the world’s most iconic brands. He also led strategic projects with subsidiary businesses and joint ventures.
As a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), he made a significant contribution to the CIM’s ‘Canon of Marketing knowledge’ and he is the author of numerous papers and articles. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and active in both the Soil Association and the Transition Towns network.
Graham began his career on the editorial staff of the National Geographic Magazine in Washington D.C., where he helped to draw popular attention to the major energy and resource issues that drive many of his activities and business interests today. He was also a senior commissioning editor with HarperCollins, during which time he published more than 160 high quality non-fiction books.
